Service Description

People diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetic are at increased risk of peripheral vascular disease and neuropathy, as well as having a high risk of developing infections. Regular foot assessment and care are essential to prevent complications arising as a result of this condition. The diabetic foot should be assessed annually as a minimum requirement, the assessment involves a full vascular and neurological assessment. This appointment includes toenail cutting, removal of hard skin following by a soothing intense moisturising cream and advice on foot care and a future treatment plan.
